Tints have had their day I rekon, half arsed ones look crap and if you have them decently dark youll get pulled. Best left alone IMO like gold alloys ;)

My experience of the CTR is that in a straight line they are quicker, by a reasonable margin. But in the real world the difference in speed is not going to be noticable. Obviously on the value for money side there is nothing that can touch a 182 or better still a 2nd hand 172. I do like CTRs but...

I dont know why people find it so hard to believe but g tech meters ARE accurate. I took mine to york last year and got the EXACT same reading on the meter as I got on my printout. As far as Im concerned as long as you do your run on a level road it accurate. Fact.

to be fair its very hard to get a feel for a car on a test drive, when I test drove the 172 I had the salesman at the side of me and he sh*t himself when I planted the throttle, I was still finding more power a week after Id owned the car

I think a V6 would be marginally more practical but come on a VX220 turbo is a fekkin ferrari eater! it really is in a different league, maybe a direct comparison (other than its similar price tage) is a bit unfair. V6 ate all the pies and the VX is a bullemic russian fasion model on speed.

theres nothing wrong with the clio seats they are fantastic and very comfortable. But FFS sake they are sat too high in the car!!!! probably something to do with NCAP saftey or something, but the actual seats are superb, better than you get in most hatches.
