to be honest, i don't know if there is any difference. it came in a 182 manifold i bought, which was from a crashed car with 5k on. i'll try it on my car, and if you do have any trouble then, you can send it back and i'll happily give you your money back if need be.
just let me know what you...
again, speak to frozen solid about the clutch. they also make treated clutches. i'm not sure what they cost, but they say they can custom make almost anything.
that makes 243 nm, so about 25% stronger. i think the weakness beyond that is the casing itself, thats probably the point where you start shot-peening and all the rest of the messing around.
if this is the smartuki, i saw it at an airfield day. the thing came wobbling round the hairpin with tvr's, evo's and 911's lined up behind it, pulled over to let them past and then absolutely blew them all away!!
straight gears will be a bit noisy, but they wont break! also there are much less transmission losses than helical gears. i'm not too sure about intervals, but i think it is just because of the design- i'm pretty sure it is a torque biasing diff, so that wouldn't be the reason.
i do know they...
sadev make the boxes for the cup cars. there is either a sequential at anything up to £7k (i think) or a normal h pattern box for more like £4k.
they both have straight cut internals, and a diff as standard. the reason i was put off was because they need more maintenance, and are normally...

have a chat with the guy there. he is very helpful, and sounds proper enthusiastic.
also for a lot less money than building an engine, you could have a sadev h box. try team think on here, they definately had a spare cos i was going to buy it.
if your building it from new, you should speak to frozen solid. they do cryogenic treatment for the engines of most bttc and dtm teams. sounds pretty impressive the strength gains they can get.
definately go for motec!
also if it's any use to anyone at the moment, i have an unused f4r block doing nothing? just the bores though, no crank or rods.
i've drilled through the transmission tunnel bit, and put an eyelet there, for the right hand side, i used the metal bar that the original belt fastened to.
but i don't have any pictures here! so not much help really.

finishing soon!
these must be of interest to someone on here?
it might be possible that peloquin make one. from what i understand, quaife didn't copyright in america. so peloquin have re-manufactured their designs but cheaper. i know they do all the vw ones, not sure about for renault though?
