and how much happier were you after stage 3? i think you see where im coming from. Anyway...
good work none the less...nice to see the ICE scene is still around. Everyone, me include, has got the track bug (my saxo was on front cover of PFC, and just in Fast Car) but nice to see the ICE scene...
Fli audio is a sub company of Vibe. So made by the same people!
anyway...for a beginner and a cheap plug n play system, no fuss installtion these boxes are great. dont expect any window shattering bass mind. unless you have about 50 of them!
For the money they are a good deal :) check ebay...
Im sure the above BOLD section is a direct quote from what i said the other day!
As for what i said earlier...eg the basics. yeah you have nice equpiment but whats equpiment if it isnt installed properly? I bet youd be 100 times happier if there wasnt 1 wire in sight or the trimming was...
So your subs are rated to 300Wrms which means they will need an amp capable of around 600wrms. Over two channels of course. Many mono block amps will come with connections to run two subs. But...You should never really have an amp on full gain. will either burns itself out or just switch off if...
my god that looks awful!
youve got the basics of a cracking system thier but poor fitting/rushed has made it piss poor!
Also that boot with the blue subs in, why oh why do you have speakers in the shelf? they will be fucked fighting all that bass tryin to get out!
f**k them off!
excellent job on the painting but too much colour coding going on in their. Its just a bit too much, needs to be more subtle to work i think.
Would work betterif it was just the renault sport badge on the intake that was yellow
Well i planned stickin it in my saxo after trimming or flocking but i sold the car before that happened so i sold the install as it was there. but from the new owners reports it was insane. i used the equipment in a previous setup so knew it would be mad but never had it running in the setup...
looks nice but power cap is pointless, waste of cash if you went out and bought it.
could of been a bit more adventurouos with it. here's one of my old installs that i made. pre trimming:
two JL 12" W6's biggest JL amp availble and a nice eq :) rocked my socks!
Made for a saxo mind you!
running ITB's can be done with Fly by wire. was litterally chatting to John from GMC motorsport about this the other day, says he has new software that allows this! But im sure it involves standalone.
the cheaper prices that people are quoting on here are for generic maps, eg a map that has already been made up on a previous car. Needs flashing onto the ecu. thats very easy and for the person that uploads them to the ecu, its free! But its the initial outlay to get that map that you pay for...
you should have made the board on the left a bit taller and took it to the plastic trim just above it, make it sit flush with that and it would look more original. Would Blend in a bitmore then. nice job on the a pillars, Will be gettin mine flocked!
in such a small car the rear speakers arent really needed. If you do insist on having them in their then the fade should be 90% to the front. thus just givin the rear that tiny bit of fill.
Having rear speakers only drags the sound stage backwards.
When you go to a concert are the speakers...
how do they rate over the toyo proxy t1rs?
thats what ive got at the moment. pretty common to be honest so most will knwo what they are like.
do a lot of dual carridge way miles so needs to be fairly hardish compound. are the yoko's softer than the toyo?
so no real opinions on the FK's then?
As said H&R's would be great but cant justify £700+ on a setup that would rarely be used to its full potential.
Ive thought about the koni dampers a bit over the past few days and i think im going ignore them in this case. Simply becuase i will loose my...
Hi all. Sorry if this has been asked many times before but like to do my research before i buy anything worth a bit of cash! Before anyone says ive done a search and done some reading already. Although not much on the weitechs came up.
I have a clio 172 mk2. Currently running eibach springs...
Worth thinking about Jamsport
they had a bad repuatation a little while.
they specialise in Fords rs turbos mostly but do do other work. Had my old saxo lowered and exhaust made there.
they recently had an overhaul and got in some new guys and apprently they are on the up.
if its only...
Hi all, sorry if this has been posted many times, just wanted to double check that my searches are correct.
Would like to remove the badges from my 172 52 plate
eg "renault" "sport" and "Clio"
my search said that the clio badge on the right has holes into the boot lid. but the other two...
nice car, what cage is it u have? is it a functional cgae or just a show cage?
if its functional then get it painted black. get the rims in black. nice 30-35mm drop and that car will be sex.
that boot install is kak, spoiling a sexual car!
Hi all, what tools will i need to remove the seats from a full fat 182.
want to get in there n clean the carpet before i do anything with the car.
havent got the car yet so cant look! Should be gettin it saturday and will be giving it a full valet. want to know what tools to take home in...
