done this exhaust thing on my 172 system mate, have a look in my project thread 'project tame'
you can see what i did in that, much nicer tone, quite loud though! no raspyness involved at all.
still got my cat too!
can vouch for the engine covers being better than the ktec ones!
i have ktec one on my car, bic fitted the streamline version and its so much nicer, tighter fit, sits better too.
the pics on ebay are actually of the cover fitted to my car, if i hadnt already got my ktec one id go with the...
as above, i had a pioneer which came with adaptor loom and the cage required to fit, although it was loose so had to just nip an edge of the dash where the cage sits, nothing visable.
you will need both incartec lead for the stalk controls, £35 in all but well worth it. i love my stalk...
i see your what your saying, still think you couldve got it a little lower and still have all those things you said. This is the exact things i want from mine also, will try and get pics up this weekend :) see how far we get :)
amp cooling isnt a problem. as long as air can escape you wont...
looks good, i'll be using this guide this coming weekend! excellent stuff, i think you should have trimmed the top of the sub box rather than paint it.
also i think that your top visable floor is too high, you said you made skirts for it. if you mounted that lower it owuld have looked a little...
Pioneer GM-5300T
Pioneer GM-7300M
I Bought these two amps on the 3rd June 2008. They were planned to go into my clio but after initial design idea's we've discovered they are going to be too big, dimensional wise. I want everything as compact as possible for the boot. Decided to go onto a...
agree with you chap, currently im on std speaker with pioneer HU, i have the fade set about half way to the front, but i like the rear with a little bit on.
mainly cause the standard speakers are kak, but i think it adds to the whole sound. quite impressed with the stds to be honest
Small update:
Got the wiring fed in the rear, under the rear seat for now:
The bit of 18mm MDF we used:
The base made:
the side walls made, (although new layout is looking like we wont need these!)
Think im going to be gettin a new amp, rather than the two pioneer's im...
lol, running them down opposte sides is a myth and is absolute bullshit! 100% fact.
Ive always ran my cables next to each other and never EVER had problem with inferance or qaulity.
Whoever told you lot that knows nothing!
did it last night with little problems...although was a tight...
go for a 172 FF. 182's are more expensive due to age, and the goodies are pretty much the same, 182 has a couple more but nothing that put me off my 172 FF.
trophy is a good buy if you wanna spend 9-10k on a clio. personally i cant see the attraction, for some fancy suspension and nice seats...
agree with that, in the picture as we look at it, the right tail pipe is facing down as it touching the bumper. needs adjusting :)
if you say its adjustable then you should be able to do it
Hi all, probably been covered in some far and distant thread but never the less.
Going to be running my cable down the passenger side of the car. Doing this tonight. I need to run all 4 sets. Power (4AWG), RCA's, Remote and speaker wire.
The plastic sills look ideal, how do they come off...
System update, can appreciate a load of ICE isnt to most people taste at the moment but never really one to follow trends. This is my daily driver and comfort, useability is the main concern.
Proposed layout:
Have the put the eq somewhere too yet, havent found a decent place!
Then the...
yeah interior strips are on the list, waiting for streamline to produce them :)
loving the HU, its spot on. Not great in terms of adjustability but im going to be runnig an Graphic EQ so the settings will become redundant when thats in. I knew that when i bought it.
Coilover are spot on...
