check that your brake pads arent out of place or excessivly worn. had a mate who had the same problem. cant remember exactly what it was that was causing the problem but it had to do with his brake pads or discs
coilsprings do custom springs. give them a phone. keano payed £100 for his to be made but thats the rear ones only. also if your going lower than 60mm then better off getting coilovers mate as standard shocks will fail.
some springs say they will lower by 60mm and they actually dont so it...
yeh ive got them mate. i know what you mean now but do you think i could leave the whole ring out ie just use the spring? or would you think its best to kepp the bottom ring in for safety?
that must have been done by the firservice to get the passenger(s) out without damaging their spine. was on a medical training course last week and we were working on a serario that involved a car with the roof off in a similar fasion
kl mate. only thing that worries me is that side that sits on the adjusters is larger in diameter and as a result the spring doesnt sit as snugly on the spring seat as teh other end if that makes sense lol
ok basically im going to fit my coilovers next week and ws wondering if it would be safe to not use the rear adjusters and just to use the spring on its own?
yeh mate. also its a better idea to just loosen the top bolt and then undo the bottom bolt completly as it makes it alot easier to do as it takes the wieght of the rear beam off the bottom bolt.
i undo the top mount(bolts) first then the bottom one. and just pull the shock down. very easy to do only problem you may have is actually getting the bolts off as they can be tight. other than that its straight forward mate
very easy mate as long as your bolts arent too rusty. even so they easily come off if you have an impact wrench
also undo one side at a time so that the rear beam doesnt fall on the ground.
lol plenty of pot holes and speedbumps but just need to avoid them. tbh me and ben(brembo) were gonna fit them and leave them settle for a month and then take them to be set up properly but i would need to an impact wrench to undo the top mounts, which i dont have so will probably save myself...
cheers mate. as low as they will go on the back and nearly all teh way down on the front. yeh getting set up properly but not sure who im taking it to. yeh silver is teh best colour for turini's imo.
