Go for 20psi Legohead, I'm tired of seeing that V6 on fire picture, make a change to see a 182.
Back to this turbo package, where is Henk when we want him to explain things to us :)
Good advice.
Rubbish.
Autocar did a Tyre test two weeks ago, Goodyear were above Michelin.

EVO did a Tyre test last month too and came up with the following results - tested in wet (lap times and lateral G), for aqua planing...
Just get standard/cheapish Bosch ones, complete bull all these NGK ones as are Magnecor leads.
I personally would never spend more than OE on plugs anyway.
Indeed price wise you really can't put them in the same bracket, but they are the same kind of car built for IMO a very similar market. If I were buying a MCS:W I'd certainly hope the extra 10k would buy me more performance.
So how did you rate it personally out of 10? When I drove one (shortly after launch) I'd have given it like a 7 me thinks. I'd like to drive an R27 though.
Yes you're right it does decrease wear, but unless you're driving around like a loon everywhere I'd not bother. Just make sure you're timing your changes right and that should be sufficient.
Save it for a car with more power and when you're on track.
Franx, thanks for your quick review. How much quicker did it feel? I'm assuming because it's a smaller turbo on low boost that there's no real lag with it?
Oh and btw, the cup is 80-90kg lighter, not 150kg :)
It's pointless from a second hand perspective I mean, given they're not that much cheaper than a FF 182.
172 Cup = 90kg lighter than 172.
182 Cup = 20kg lighter than 182.
Poverty spec? The seats are enough to put me off, as indeed nada xenon.
182 Cup = Pointless, trully poverty spec car with no discernable weight difference. I could save more weight by taking a dump.
172 Cup = Poverty spec, but with decent weight saving and 'quicker'.
^Admiral/Bell/Elephant are the same company, but their prices do differ and quite substancially in some cases.
Anni have you tried adding your mum on as a named driver? Usually good for a 15-20% reduction in costs.
It's a good conversion to do in a Clio, forget your Golf. Check out Matts old car, it's not the first time it's been done Carlos and that happened to go quite nicely (in a straight line).
Well I'd still rather a car with only 113 registered in my spec than one with 1000 registered. Can only help resale which I guess is something those with common colours envy ;)
Footwell lighting kits look good IMO, anything exterior is a no though.
60mm will kill your ride, your shocks and with passengers goodluck with multi-stories, go 40mm on Eibach's.
