Just curious as twice in the the last couple of days in second gear when hooning it a bit its cut out like a rev limiter or like fuel cut on a turbo;d car i used to own, I wonder whether there is a limiter in second as it doesn;t do it at that amount of revs in third or forth etc? Simon

I don;t know the answer but I have exactly the same problem. I;ve read posts on here which indicates its a common issue with these cars but I;ve never seen a solution or diagnosis

My new 182 has been quite hesitant when cold recently and I checked the air filter to see if needed replacing Its not a paper filter at all but a bright green mesh filter. very tough looking filter and very clean are these standard? if not what kind offilter is it thanks Simon
