I've only just started looking at the 182's after a tip off from a friend who owned a 172, but I guess it all depends on how much you want to throw at it? I currently own a 51 plate 206, and it has no visual signs of rust. Once rust is there, its costly to remedy, on top of the other things...

I saw this earlier, and thought what a shed. For it to be on 70k, and have that much wrong with it its clearly been heavily neglected.

It would be great if we could get some new images to support this, maybe members on here with various models etc, could all use the same angel/format when taking the images so its clear and obvious when comparing, also an opportunity for people to show their cars off!

I've just been nosing around on Auto trader, and spotted a Inferno with Half leathers? From my understanding infernos are usually cups?

Sounds like a plan, I'm keeping my eyes peeled on here for a 182!

My Brother in law had a 172, he tipped me off about the 182, I've been intruiged ever since. I've already run some insurance quotes off on a couple of plates off autotrader, its great being post 25! barely touches my premium.

Bit of TLC and its looking good, seems like a pretty good price to me, not that I have much of a clue, still yet to make a purchase, but on the hunt!

I recently posted about looking for a 182 too, so all the comments on here have been extremely helpful. Can't wait to get my hands on one and take it out for a test drive.

Yeah, I've just done had another look on autotrader, this one looks to be a better deal, with 72k on the clock and what looks like aftermarket exhausts.

Thanks Steven, you've been extremely helpful, I've been thinking that for a 2 hour round trip for a car with 90k on the clock, its better to hold fire and maybe see some more local to me. I am seriously interested in getting on though, works out £17 quid a month more expensive than my 1.6 206...

Thanks for the tip simon, what is a good age range for a cambelt? I'm guessing based on 10K a year, it would be 3 years since the change, but obviously I'll look to find out exacts dates.

Has anyone come across this before on here? the plate is YK05 ZCR, thinking of going to have a look.

Just spoke to the seller, the cambelt was changed at 56k.
