nickg123,
i wouldnt have thought anyone would have a go at you, just for having an opinion. At least, I hope not!
After all, everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it is wrong!

Jas,
Spoke a sales guy this morning and he has given me a sample, printed 4 colour one side, black on reverse, on a 300gsm Soveriegn Silk stock. It has had a UV varnish over the picture and it looks real nice.
The cost for that job was about £460ish for 2,000. 500 wouldnt be all that much...

Ill get a price for you tomorrow for 500. Ill also get run on prices in 500s (ie 500, 1000, 1,500 etc). thing with print is all the money goes towards making the printing plates and press-time, paper is relatively cheap, so it could be for a few extra quid youd get twice as many postcards...
jas,
Id be happy to give it a go for you. Im a designer at a large printers here in Norwich.
i dont know where you plan to get your stuff printed at, but I may be able to get you some good prices at work if you let me know quantities. Also, dont know why the image had to be at 400dpi...

I had to pop down to my reno garage yesterday, and in front of me was a renaultsport clio 172.
Or so the driver liked to think. He had stick a "sport" badge under his reno badge. Thing is, it didnt even look like a proper sport" badge. Wrong font, size etc, everything wrong,
best bit was...
hello all,
Gonna be touching up a couple of tiny stone chips soon and wondered if anyone has any top tips for me.
Gonna use cocktail sticks as recommened by GirlRacer.
also, as i have waxed over the stone chips, do i need to "cleanse the stone chip areas first before i paint them, or...

Hi mate,
went to halfords today and took advantage of their 3-for-2 on turtle wax stuff. Like yourself I wanted just a wax, not a polish. Was going to get the extreme wax that was mentioned in your other thread, but found something else.
There is a turtle wax emarald series, in both liquid...
Think you can scrub what i said earlier.
went out to my car earlier today, after it had been standing all night. AND...
Lumpier than my nans custard.
never mind. ho hum.

thats the annoying thing, i had to succumb and buy a micro$oft Intellimouse, so at least I have a right-click now, and a scoll wheel, and 2 thumb clicks...
Got office X, but my serial number refuses to work at the moment :-(
Who else on here has a mac then?

My 172 has had a lumpy idle since the day i picked it up.
Also, when starting from cold and driving off, i get hesitation as I accelerate, making it hard to drive smoothly. Once warmed up, it is okay.
Tried the instructions above, but pressed the pedal all the way down 4 times. and BINGO...
Any chance of putting the flyer up as a pdf?
Not everyone in the world uses a peecee and is controlled by Micro$oft!!!
Thank you.
