Hi,
I noticed in another thread, you said that your renault dealer had managed to fix a rattle in the middle of the dash.
I have a rattle in the same place, but my dealer hasnt been able to fix it yet.
Do you happen to know what your dealer did, or what caused the rattle, as any info I...

The definitive way to tell if a car is a "girls car"....
Is there a vanity mirror on the drivers sun visor... if there is, its a girls car. The cars designer knew the car was aimed at girls, and therefore had to put a vanity mirror on the drivers side.
Simple.
Still love my Clio tho...
Now got a quote from NU Direct and I said my 172 was Thatcham 1 approved. The car is an offical Uk dealer sourced car with the alarm.
Was I right in believing it is Thatcham 1. Im sure thats what I told Tesco when i insured it last year!
NU Direct = £483.??
Tesco = £449.?? (without...

YOGI - I hate to break it to you, but the resin polish IS abrasive.
When it is used it actually "cuts" a fine layer of your top surface off. Thats what it is supposed to do. It does this to allow it to remove oxidisation, very fine swirls marks etc.
If you were to use it on a flat red car...

The one on wvc was the hydrablade, which i have and it is well worth the money.
It is also the one sold my AutoGlym so you could probably get it in halfords... they were on sale in my local vauxhall dealer the other day.
well worth it!

adtmits – how easy is it to use.
I need to use it on the black plastic "triangles" where the door mirrors fix into the doors.
Whqt does the finish look like? Does it look obvious? Does it take a while to dry, ie do you get a chance to rub it of if some gets on your paintwork etc?
You...
I dont want to such anyone to suck eggs here, but why are you using autoglym polish on a mk2 172.
The stuff is abrasive and such a new car shouldnt need polishing, just waxing.
Cheers,

Saw this in halfords today!
Wondered what the score is. is it any good? Looks like what I might need to get rid off the wax residue off of my trim.
looks like you apply it with a sponge and then it "sets" and that it. permanent.
Cheers

Stick the sport badge on the other side, under clio.
That way you have a sport badge on your clio, and you wont be making it "look" like a RenaultSport Clio.
What I think is wrong is to put it under Renault and make it look like a RenaultSport. Which, whatever way you slice it, it aint...
