Mines got aircon :) No they dont have a spare, but nor do a lot of new cars.

Not really. I dont see how an extra 8000 miles of commuting style driving would add up to enjoying it to the full as that is what most car mileages are made up of. Plus I want to sell it while it still has a stronger value to fund the purchase of my next car.

Well I got aircon with mine, which has been a great. I only really use it at weekends so it only has 2600 miles after nine months. It will be for sale in February.

The build quality issues have been adressed with the MINI. The dash is now made from 3 pieces instead of 5, for instance. Renault dont seem concerned with improving build quality.

Its when you mess around with different fonts and black screw covers that they get you. But thats mainly because the UK is becoming a surveillance society and all the congestion charge cameras and vehicle tax checking cameras cant read them.

I would maybe contact a solictor anyway. Get then to write a threatening letter and you might get some compensation to keep you quiet.

Interesting. If theyd admitted that it had been like that from the factory you may have been able to sue them. Thats probably why they treated you that way. If you were in the USA youd have a lawyer pushing for a multi-million dollar lawsuit right now.

Get the Racing Blue. Put the stripes on yourself or get me to do it for half the price Renault charge. If you get bored with them, take them off.
