Ignoring all of the spam, in summary there's a high chance than your car will not be fixed by your insurer due to the wheels which will inevitably void your insurance. Your only ''way out'' so to speak, and if possible, is to change your wheels to the wheels it had when it left the factory...

not quite, as im sure the fuel filter prevents this, maybe its because a petrol light or low needle means the car needs tanking up.

lol... the car runs on the amount of petrol, the shape of the tank is completely irrelevant.

because your driving style changes, due to the fear of possibly running empty, so you dont take it all the way so to speak. Should know better than driving on low fuel.

Yes, re: RS' in particular, there are always potential buyers, i.e. 1.2/4 owners. Providing your car has been looked after past (media) threads will show this, you'll have no problems selling. J.D's rep is an example.
