Yeah after new year will get it down to Chris for mapping. Good buy tho plus it’s a genuine unit.
Mines was running 252bhp with the copy 2871 that was on it so a will be happy for similar figures with the new unit

Yeah that’s the same fitment as mines. Can it still be driven without the map? I don’t mean driving it hard but maybe the odd trip out untill after Xmas till I get it mapped?

Well the local tuner down my way said it would cost £590 for him to get the turbo fixed and a 360degree bearing which I think is hell of expensive considering it’s a Chinese replica. So would better just buying a brand new unit

Ok so basically last month the turbo went on the Clio. And due to work circumstances I really could afford to send the car where I wanted it to go to get repaired.
Anyway managed to get a start selling Audi’s the other day so hopefully fresh start for next year.
Now back to the turbo...
Wow there impressive figures there Carl. The diesel gearbox is that just from a clio dci etc? I take it that it just has a longer final drive? And how are they compared to the standard 182 box as in reliability and gear ratios?

Very true the car sure could do with a decent geometry set up aswell, but that’s least of my worries lol.
The main factor is getting the car back to being right but still very capable like it was which in the hands of Carl @bloke should be easily done. I haven’t heard horror story’s on these...
Lol mate being honest here and not exaggerating it’s been the best car I have ever owned seriously the power the performance is out of this world and not just saying this but I have made shame of many higher powered cars lol.
But that aside I quite like the size of the turbo on it I like the...
Well after work took the Clio out for a blast all going well untill sudden lost of power and cloud of smoke out the back [emoji85][emoji31]. Saying that wasn’t taking it gently lol 5th gear and on full boost.
So managed to drive her off the motorway round the roundabout and pulled into a bus...
Thanks Carl top man. I managed to use a new silicone hose just in the mean time but I really want to braid it. is this common on them to fail like this as its so close to the down pipe? or is it anything to do with the size of the turbo charger on mines as I know its larger than the standard...
Ok guys so as above. my oil return feed on my clio turbo failed (no big issue) but the problem I have is that its the return pipe is silicone and has melted where can I get a braided return hose from?? pic below to show. It melted on the downpipe.
Each to there own I suppose. In my opinion looks great love the whole yellow n black who gives a s**t if it looks like mr noddy mr noddy doesn’t have 300bhp.
Yes maybe the sun strip could be changed but it’s stunning in every aspect.
