Well, pads changed for DS2500's (cheers Lewis) yesterday and so far very pleased with the performance. So much more bite and stopping power (IMO) than the Yellowstuffs, especially from stone cold :)
Been doing my tracking (stringing method :) ) today and upon measuring each side, it turns out that I have 2 different pairs of 15" OZ F1's, Im guessing one is aftermarket and 1 is Ph1 172 spec.
They're ever so slightly different in that the "concave" bit where the wheel bolts/centre cap is...
Im definately going BUT Im not sure if I'll be there the whole weekend, me and my mate may head on to somewhere else for the following couple of days, not too sure yet. So dont want to commit to booking everything up with you guys and then have to change it about ;)
Cheers Danny, gonna go with some off Lewis!
Stava, its mostly road use with a track day here and there. From the cars I've been passenger in running DS2500s, they felt stronger than yellowstuffs tbh!
Well after only 7000miles including 2 track days, my EBC Yellowstuffs are down to feck all, didnt even realise and didnt expect it so soon.
Took the wheels off to change the front shocks today and looked down to find about 1.5mm of pad left on all 4 :S
Will most likely get some DS2500's, but a...
Thanks guys, the comments are very encouraging ;)
I've not really read up on the metering aspect but found I can change a few things on the camera....anyone care to give me a quick run down?
The thing with snetterton, is that a lot of spectator areas are raised to give a good view, I imagine...
I only edited the red fiesta, the yellow Mk2 escort and the mini. Only a small amount to brighten the colour a little, and just to experiment really.
Don't think the bright snow helped. I've only just this minute found the menu to change the saturation and contrast settings in the camera so...
Thanks for the comments guys :)
dunganick, what do you think makes the colours a bit dull? I'd like to get them looking as good as possible straight off the camera. I'm shooting in RAW, could that be a factor?
The lotus one is definately the best looking, probably the only one that's perfectly...
Great pics :)
Have you edited any of the ones taken with the 70-300mm lense? They look alot more colourful than mine, using the same lense. Although the camera probably has a lot to do with it also ;)
Im getting there slowly, but for every 100 shots, about 10 are any good :dapprove: Practice makes perfect I guess!
Very cold today, doesnt help with stability!
These are my first "panning" shots using my new camera, so any constuctive criticism welcome ;)
All pics were shot hand-held with no tripod/monopod and only a couple had minimal editing, the rest are as shot :)
Firstly its my first DSLR so Im a complete beginner at this......
Been down Snetterton circuit for a few hours over the weekend taking hundreds of pictures, ALOT of which were rubbish and out of focus :o
But, I nailed a few good ones (IMO) but nowhere near perfect. Basically some constuctive...
