Tell me about it, absolutely gutting feeling. Think that on my next day off I can get during the week, gonna have to do a 6 hr round trip to get it sorted.
Thanks. It's amazing how some subtle little mods can change the appearance so much. Makes me wonder why some people go for ridiculous body kits etc. Though I guess it's horses for courses.
There you go, look a lot worse in one of the pics. Pretty sure its just the lacquer. Just annoyed I am so far away from any decent proper wheel refurbishers.
Here is my resprayed dash insert, it was bloody freezing so couldn't stop shaking, hence the pic isnt the greatest, but you get the idea.
Just fitted my new Alpine Head unit. Sound quality is much better than the JVC it replaced, also blends in much better with the dash. Will get a pic...
The 1.4 and 1.6 models have more sports orientated suspension so they might be slightly lower than the smaller engined models. Though I imagie the changes are more to do with spring rate and dampening etc than actual spring length.
I have just started fitting my new OZ Super-Ts, and the bloody torque wrench has scratched the alloy. Looks like it has dug through the lacquer to the metal. Going to go and buy a double depth socket to give some more clearance once my lazy ass flatmate gets out of bed to give me a lift to...

If you follow your link, then click on the blue car insurance, then read all of the fine print, it says a copy of you renewaL will be required. It also doesnt include things such as legal cover, breakdown cover, courtesy car etc.
I am having my K-Tec Stealth fitted Next wednesday, can't wait. Its for a 1.6, not a 1*2 but I shall be posting pics and a vid once I collect it from the garage.
Woohoo, 500 posts!!
Think they are meant to, but when I mentioned it they said it didn't matter as I was in Scotland! Didn't think the law was different, but I will let you know as I think I will be popping in tomorrow morning.
Well, I have spent today building up a few layers of AG EGP on my brand new OZ Super Ts before my Poorboys wheel sealant arrives.
Basically I am just wondering what torque I should be doing the wheel bolts up to when I fit my wheels?
Might get a set now, as I will need some for MOT time in May. Finding someone else who does them with really understated BS and postcode is quite difficult. If they still have plenty I could see if they can make a set with your reg on as well if you like.
Lol. I know, luckily mine is a different blue. Did you get those door sill plates in the end? I have decided the wheels arent going on until i have put some layers of sealant on them, and as the local Halfords doesnt sell any, I have ordered some Poorboys wheel sealant off t'internet. Looks...
