The Cobra may have been built in Britain, but by that time according to what I thought, Carol Shelby was bankrolling AC so it could be classed as American, the later models were even part designed by Ford.

NO, but the question asked was is he modifying an astra van, and implying why?
You said lots of people do it. Thats not a good reason to do something though is it? Hence the comment about japped saxos. Just because people do something doesnt make it cool.
It does look a bt high sided and narrow to me. In the vid I am sure he implies the suspension damping is adjustable as standard, as he suggest changing it for track use. Not sure it lloks like it handles that well.
Thanks for the responses guys, but as said previously. I dont want to sell them, I want to dispose of them for the reasons stated. Was just wondering if anyone knew where I could do that.
I dont get that much spare time off from my job, so dont really want to be waiting in for someone to turn up. Plus living where I am, not really that close to major city, limits the amount of people who would prob collect them. I dont really have the space to store them either, hence disposing...
I have an old set of seats to dispose of, as its not worth the hassle of selling them for the paltry amount I would get for them, and just wondered if there was some special way of disposing of them. Can i just take to my lcal waste disposal site? They have side airbags fitted.
Second thread in the last few days that people have said Quinn Direct are terrible for that, and yet mine only went up £50 for the year after passing, and then dropped by £200 with one years no claims. Incidentally my no claims was accrued partly whilst having insurance with my provisonal license.
Goes to show everyone is different. Mine went up £50 for the year when I first passed, then after having 1 years no claims, it dropped by just over £200, after 2 years no claims, I was paying half of my original premium, with Quinn Direct. Stick with them if its cheaper, if the renewal comes out...
FFS, ridiculous amount of pictures of the same cars, you even have the exact same pictures more than once. Not a patch on the other threads, JDM/German etc.
Thank feck noone has posted this before me. Remember falling in love with it when i first saw it months ago. Has taken me ages to find it online. But I just tent when i look at this lol:
Sorry about thumbnails, couldnt get my uploaded pics from photobucket to work.
Seeing as how people wanted an update, here you go.
4 months on and noone has been in touch with me. She has given the impression to a couple of people that her insurance company paid out and had claimed off me. I think she is too embarassed to admit that she tried to claim and they wouldnt...
If its your car and you're the main driver, it should be insured under your own name anyway, not with you as a named driver. Perhaps insurance companies are wising up to this more and raising the premiums accordingly?
