My haynes manual says that in some cases the abs ring is integral to the driveshaft, pretty sure its the case with the non RS models to be honest. If not, there will be a part number on the system for a 1.2 ABS ring.
Have you checked to make sure its replaceable on your driveshaft? And that it is the right size and has the correct number of teeth etc?
According to renault dialogys (or whatever its called) you cant get rings for anything other than the RS models. Whcih suggests that the ring isnt...
Everyones opinion, i dont think this colour looks good colour coded. So IMO it wont be getting done, plus, want to be able to return it to standard if i decide to sell to buy a diesel, the way petrol prices are going.
Open your door, on the back edge of the door level with the bumpstrip is a little plastic/rubber grommet. Pop this off and then inside use a screwdriver to push the clip holding the bumpstrip towards the outside of the car. Then push up slightly on the bump strip and then it should pretty much...
Was going to say this myself. I think it boils down to some of the 1*2 owners not liking the fact that someone is perfectly happy with the performance they get from a non-RS Clio.
Not everyone wants/needs/can afford an RS Clio, and I dont think its right that the moment someone says they...
I agree, it would be a waste of the money IMO unless you have a way of doing it on the cheap. Having said that, if your car doesnt fit into the cliosport stereotype most people will tell you its a waste of money. So if you want to, do it, interesting project.
Your cars smart by the way.
i had someone check the other day for my 1.6. The renault parts catalogue shows the ring available seperately for the RS models, bu the regular models the ABS ring is not avail seperately so does not appear to be replaceable, worth a try though possibly.
Or try euro car parts for a new...
Come on everyone! I need some ideas for the side badges.
1.Silver to match the wheels with Cyclone blue writing
2.Silver with black writing
3.silver with silver writing
4.black with Cyclone blue writing
7.black with black writing.
Just took off my side badges and in the process of sanding them down. 1 done, 1 to go.
Not sure what colour to go with them, looking at silver to match my wheels, but not sure about the writing. Black or Cyclone blue like the rest of the car?
Any ideas People?
lol, fair enough. You getting one then? I am considering an aftermarket wheel, but not sure I want to lose my airbag. Suppose it only matters if you crash.
