I <3 my Vee. Where the Trophy was an entertaining car, the Vee is just pure silliness. I giggle all the time whilst driving it, it's an immense work of engineering. It's a car that you can drive normally and chill out in, yet you can bang it in second and wheelspin all the way up to 60 for a...
Yeah, claiming it on expenses - but it's not the point. I buy a part for a computer, I get updates which improve it's performance and enhance compatibility for the useful life of that product. Why is it I buy a sat nav 4 months ago, and I'm expected to stump up for camera and map updates for it?!
TBH I resent what they do - you buy a device, they charge you for map updates, they charge you for traffic ('premium' traffic on Garmin, you get basic) and they charge you for speed camera updates - WTF? I buy a device, I expect it to have updates for it's usable life.
Licence to f*cking...
What a lousy f**king attitude to take when you take everyone elses lives into your hands by getting into your car and driving like a wanker. One of the consequences I guess of fast cars getting cheaper is scrotes can afford them...
With a bit of luck you'll get locked up for dangerous...
I dunno if it's a good price - ask Compare the Market and s**t like that and they'll tell you. We're not Insurance advisors and personal circumstances change every single quote!
I'm not so much after ultra-wide or wide-angle at the moment, as I'm not that far on but a decent prime on the front for taking indoor pics. Got the decent lens (17-85mm IS USM) but it's f/4.0-5.6 which it's struggling with taking pics without using a flash, which for the pictures I'm taking...
Lol. I thought half-decent (cosmetic and running!) one went for a shade over a grand (roughly what it's on at the moment?).
I've got a shock when I decide to get one then!
Re: Diesel in a 182
As has been said, you should be OK. Diesel may upset a couple of bits and worst case if it's still working I'd say lambda/cat may need replacement, but it tends to be much, much worse the other way round.
Lots more than £300, however I'll entertain the idea. What's it like for indoor shots though? At only f/4.0 at best, surely I've got to have a steady hand (and steady subject!) for darker indoor stuff?
Righty, firstoff I know as it's a 1.6x crop it's never going to be a particularly wide angle lens - I'm more after a 'wave the camera about indoors' lens. Got a 50mm f/1.8 lens which is absolutely ace, but I'm far, far too close to subjects with it. The two that fall into a 'rough' budget are...
And V6s. Incidentally the cheapest body panel on the car.
You need Black Pearl/Pearl Black. Easily found. Black Gold is distinguishable by it's gold flake:
