Yep, they're shut now (can see out my bedroom window near enough lol!). 4-wheel tracking was £60 for the Vee, £100 for camber and tracking. FWD Clios were £35-40 off the top of my head.
Main road through the old town - the one Tesco is on? On the left a few hundred yards before that (or if you're coming from Leam, the other side). Right by the national autocentre!
Yup. But that road is ace - I've even done it on the suicide machine at a fair old lick (100+ knots) and it's easy to carry too much speed onto, but I wouldn't say it was slippery or dangerous!
Incidentally, take it to Protyre. Easily the best tyre/alignment place I've used by far.
V6 255. Obviously biased, but I've driven all the others (most in anger) and whilst they're fun to rag shite out of, when you settle down they're all still a bit too 'buzzy'. The V6 is much more civilised IMO on the motorway at 80-90mph, but then turns into a toy when you're pushing...
Aye, thought that too:
"Just had this dodgy place weld some scaffold tube under my car and now it's broken and it's all Renault's fault that I pulled it to bits and ruined it."
BTM Performance is just off the M42/A45 junction, and well worth the journey. Fred's a top bloke - did wonders with my vee! And I won't hear a word said against him.
