I have always had the pocketgpsworld camera updates on my Tomtom. Very very accurate and upto date.
Just been issued a Tomtom XL by work - very nice, wider screen, sharper display, though unfortunately, not quite as fast thro the menus or browsing maps as the original Tomtom One V1 I've just sold:(
Each to their own i suppose.:D
I've got the aquatouch waffle weave m/f drying towel, just replaced it with the Tropi-care one, but not actually tried it yet.
Always used to use the AG chamois, though it tended to go oily and streak the finish.
Chamois are sh!t. Even proper leather ones.
Get a microfibre drying towel - you wont regret it. You'll do the whole car without having to wring it out.
What are you driving Englebert?
£300 sounds a bit steep tbh. Get someone of here to do it for you.
Main thing to keep it swirl free is the weekly wash process, rinse off the surface dirt and use a lambswool washmitt to shampoo the bodywork and a microfibre drying towel to dry instead of a...
Black Gold standard '05 plate. You'll find it much easier to move on when you decide to sell.
IMO Rich's is overpriced, and apart from having the special paint job, its no different to a lot of cars on here that are probably going for £2-2.5k less. [of a similar age]
Should have painted the...
Definitely easy to do a direct comparison with the pics!!:D
I always loved the anthracite 182 wheels, and it looked superb.
However the new 172 wheels look the business. They give the car that aggressive look, mean and purposeful.
The sound of the car with the Maxogen howling over...
Wet sand it dude.
Get the proper renault touch up pen, the colour will be spot on. Prep the scratch by rubbing any sharp edges with unigrit, then wipe area with IPA. Allow to dry, then cover with several layers of touch up paint [plenty of time between coats] if necessary until paint is...
What you talking about?
0-60mph
0-100mph
quarter mile
top speed
Er, you should win the top two I would say judging by the manufacturers figures, quarter mile maybe, but top speed, no.
3 out of 4 aint bad though. Now if you were talking about the EP3 CTR, then you would lose all four.
DoF is the depth of field.- how much of your picture is in focus.
i.e an aperture of f32 will give great depth of field - sharpness from front to back of scene
an aperture of f2.8 will give a very shallow depth of field - depending on distance from subject the zone of focus could be in...
12500 mile [yearly] service approx £200, though moan and you'll get it down to about £160.
Discs and pads - £200 fitted inc VAT.[per axle]
Timing chain [not cambelt] 5yr or 72k - £200 [Honda fixed price serviceplan]
As far as tyres go, the Yoko Parada Spec-2's are highly rated for the CTR and...
No, sorry.
The 182 has two rear silencers, one of which sits where the 172's spare wheel is.
The 182 doesnt have a wheel well, it has the can of tyre foam stuff for punctures.
Straight to the point Adam, YES ITS HARD!
Spent a day and a half doing a Z4, though it was full correction all round and fabric hood needed quite a bit of attention, went down to IP on a yellow 4" pad, then final finish one white.
Great improvements; :D
Before
After
But hard work.:dapprove:
Hi Chris:D
I used victoria concourse on my Monaco Blue 172. Awesome product IMO. Waxed it last July after a good clay/pc polish/seal and it was still beading nicely after every wash up until I sold it a couple of weeks back!!!
Around £18 from tim @ cleanyourcar.co.uk
Apply with the german...
Unigrit 3000 wet sanding:eek:
Just done some bits on the black works van. Looked a mess when all the clearcoat is dulled with the sanding process.
Easily polished the marks out by hand with Menz Intesive Polish P085RD 3.02
Any one near you with a pc fUbAr?
Yeah, love the jap - redline beckons all the time:approve:. Though for 3 yrs the 172 was never a problem in traffic/rush hour. FF A/C climate and all the mod cons etc.;)
Hows the Celica - was looking at one of them, but rear seat not too good for the little one.
