I moaned when Diamond charged me an extra £25 for mine for 6 months :eek: maybe it wasn't so bad after all. I used to be with AA insurance and they were brilliant, new alloys, no charge, SS exhaust, no charge, new ICE, no charge :approve: I think I'll be going back to them this year.

I got on the dell forums and it seems to be a really common fault :( and requires a new motherboard :(:(:( I managed to get all my stuff off before it went to lappy heaven :) RIP Lappy.

Sorry didn't think to put what I use it for! I don't really use my current one for much, surfing the net, storing and editing photos, watching DVDs, a few low end games, MS office, nothing particularly taxing. I don't know what to think of the Vaio's, I like the look of them and being a girl...

My lappy seems to be dying a slow, painful death here :dapprove: What should I replace it with? I have a Dell atm but I like the better screens you can get now, don't know if the new Dell's come with them but have seen them on Vaio's and Compaqs. Min Spec Mobile Processor 1.73Ghz 512Mb Ram...

Wax and sealed paint seems loads better, it was all down the boot lid and that just wiped off. I can't seal the bumper atm though cos it's new paint :( I have learnt the hard way, remove poo asap :o

lol when I first got mine my boyfriend didn't want to mention the clunk he kept hearing in case I panicked, until I read the manual :) Saying that I didn't know it had auto lights or wipers for weeks either.
