Stuck the 182 in for MOT today, it failed on the front brakes application being uneven. MOT tester said it was 100% on the right, and 54% on the left.
It had new discs and pads all round not long ago, so I've no idea what could be causing this.
Anyone else had the same problem or any ideas...
:( Poor thing. One of my cats used to come home covered in oil from I assume being in engine bays but thankfully she seems to have stopped doing that now.
I did 82 miles in mine with the light on.
Having said that it was only because the car was being bent and put the light on when it still had quarter of a tank showing.
I've found with mine it does sod all to the gallon on 95 ron, it's not a fan of Sainsburys super unleaded, but it quite likes Tesco's Momentum, so that's what it usually gets.
Thanks for all the suggestions :)
Not sure about the Milltek having heard dodgy things about build quality... was thinking Yozza but suspect getting one in time is going to be a problem. In all, I still have no idea what I want, lol.
I see your point, but in all the threads I found when I searched people were looking for a different noise level to the standard. As I don't want louder I was wondering if people would suggest something different.
Just been informed (and in fairness it was expected) that my exhaust is not going to pass the MOT next month. So I'm after something stainless, cat back, and the same noise level as the standard one... what do you guys recommend?
You'll be back, one day :) I swore blind I'd never buy another French car and especially not a Clio... Whoops, looks like I was wrong there! Until then have fun with the focus (I know nothing about them either lol)
Looks good! Not sure about the stickers myself either, but I guess it's more individual... what style renaultsport badge is on the back? Original one or the same font as the stickers?
I think I'd be more inclined to try and find some sort of vinyl film the same colour as the car and use that to cover up the windows. Think it would look OK as long as it was done well.
I've had mine for almost a month and have almost done 2000 miles...
Engine Management Light has a mind of it's own and goes on and off as and when it feels like it, when I start it up I have a rattle from the rear so I assume something's going on with the exhaust, I have the 4K rattle which is...
Recently got a D5000 and beginning to get some half decent shots... a lot more to learn though, I can only dream of getting halfway to the quality of some of the stuff already in this thread!
Only had it a few weeks but so far I'm going with (per month)
Insurance £60
Tax £20 (theoretically I'm putting it aside)
Servicing £30 (as above)
Petrol £300
Magic Tree £1.99
Ooooh, I think I have the same thing as well, noticed a noise a couple of days ago and been panicking it's something nasty... guess it's probably not so I'll ignore it until service time in a month or so then investigate :)
Thanks all :)
Don't think mine was an exceptional bargain but I'm happy with what I paid and I know the history of the car to a degree, so I got what I wanted :)
I guess I wanted one more than I realised :D I knew I'd be doing big mileage the weekend just gone, and I was lucky to get this one in time :)
I've also just realised I worded it badly, I didn't travel for that long/far to get it, that's just how long I've owned it and how far I've been, lol.
