I can get some Mickey Thompson racing slicks on 14" wheels quite cheap and was wondering if they would fit because of the discs. How big are the discs anyway?
I tried to buy one because I was given an offer I couldnt refuse but when I drove it I for a while I realised it wasnt my kind of car. Dont get me wrong it is a blast driving it in the bends and that grip is amazing but there was something not doing it for me. I just found it strange that when I...
Nice work JonC!
I used to own a BMW E39 520iA with some minor mods and I raced everybody who wanted to race me. It wasn´t because I thought I was better or quicker, it was just because I liked whopping some arse on my 5 series (and getting whooped by somebody out of my league). One thing you...
Ive driven a few imprezas(even tried to buy a new one ones) and I dont fancy them a bit. Any idiot with a heavy enough gas foot can drive it like Colin McRae and it slurps gasoline like a old american V8.
Id rather have my Clio which demands respect and can give you so much joy for so little...
I live in Iceland and it has been either snowing or raining for about two weeks now.
Dont know if the Reanault gearbox is made of chocolade but it sure is tasty:D
Thanks, I timed it 6.98 with a stopwatch so roughly 7 sounds about right. Can´t wait to try it when its dry, that is if it ever stops raining here...
Bet I could get it down to 6.5 on dry surface with a chip and a new exhaust:cool:
Well I was bored so I went out in the rain and did a 0-125 video. I must say that Im quite happy with the time considering its in the rain and I didnt punch it from the start. You can also hear my K&N filter noise which I think is quite nice. Well anyway heres the video (its about 3.7 Mb)...
Wow insurance in the UK is expensive, I pay about 700 and think its a robbery. They dont care about modifications or even engine size, Im just charged the same as a 1.2:)
Damn, its done it again. Everytime I drive into a hole or something it fails. I removed the unit yesterday and tucked in the wires but it didnt work so I tapped on the box and it worked...maybe its posessed...
YES:D
I managed to fix it by removing the unit and pressing on the plugs. They must have loosened some plugs when I had my radar detector hard wired to the radio.
I was driving from work just earlier with my CD-changer on when all of a sudden the player stopped and the head unit went off. I stopped the car and pushed the on-button but nothing happens and I can´t listen to the radio or anything. I checked the fuse and its ok and I can take the CD out of...
I washed mine yesterday but waxed it and did the leather last weekend, didnt take me long though, only 2 hours I think.
I think my record is on my old bimmer, I spent about 6 hours on him and it was spotless.
Thanks mate. This is awsome, I dont know if I have the patience for it though

I just finished washing my car and was wondering how to get that nice Renault sport logo on the engine block shining. I tried some chrome cleaner and got a lot of dirt but the logo isnt shining enough, then tried some carwax but it was the same. I was thinking about using some steel wool but I...
Hello
Ive been thinking about doing some modifications to the exhaust system on my 172 mk2. Im not a big fan of flashy exhaust tips or doing modifications to the body so buying an expensive stainless exhaust system seems not the ideal sollution.
The original system is quite good in my...
