Although i didnt butcher an extension lead cos Halfords have a kit they use for this but have to ask i think. Its pretty crappy looking but has the inline fuse holder and good conectors! Cost me £8ish
I know exactly what you mean, but thats not allways a bad thing. Is soo funny when a saxo thinks its just a 1.2 and try and race! leave them for dust! (by the way i'm not picking on Saxo's now, just an example)lol
To be honest have raced a few times (on a private road of course) and its not a great deal quicker, i can keep up but neither can gain much ground!
A 182 should have it, but dont quote me on that, could be completely wrong!!!.
Will be racing him at Santa Pod in the summer so will be interesting!
lol, well i like it :rasp:
Was a bit shocked to get such a negative response, even from SEAT owners lol. Everyone has their own opinions but i would rather have a clio (even a poor mans 172!) than an Ibiza
And yes its remapped so is quicker too! :(
My mate put some pics of my Clio ph1 172 and his Ibiza 20vT on the SEAT website and they absolutely hated the 172 :(

I also went, was a wicked track to watch as said above cos you can see everything!
Love the Clio Cup, didnt even make it to the first corner without crashing into each other!
Here are a few of my pics :)
I had this issue when looking for induction kit vs panel filter. After reading on the forum decided to get ITG panel filter and pleased I did. Dont know if its the imagination but sounds a little louder but not much at all, again feels more responsive but could just be me!
Didnt fancy the risk...
Can i join the black ph1 club?? :)
I gave mine a bit of a clean today too, thought i would share with you.
I also changed my rear lights within weeks for ph2's with silvervision bulbs all round, to get rid of fried egg look.
Also colourcoded the sidestrips in pearl black and callipers yellow...
Nice car mate, keep mods subtle as looks best. Ive just added ph2 rear lights and in my opinion look much better than the red ph1's and only cost about £30.:)
Cool, will try tomorrow.
Might have to keep your website handy as fancy lowering the 172 in a few months and as far as i know there are no 172 Haynes manuals :dapprove:
Cheers
Dan,
Wicked guide mate, i used your ph2 rear light fitting guide a few months back and was spot on but couldnt find it again :)
Will definately try your way 1st as should be much neater and as i remember when i routed my amp +ve cable through the bulkhead was a pain as not much space!
Any...
