Just get the torsion bar lowered to match. After a week or so the springs will settle and the front will be a couple of mm lower. Thatll be best for handling....
My front brakes are finally shagged from over a years abuse so Im splashing out on a big brake conversion.

Im not a fan of spax, didnt like them on my brothers old AX GT and my old AX GT had konis which were ten times better (mainly the reason I have konis on my valver now!)
Only heard good things about eibach, so Id stump up the extra £s.........
Doesnt need 18"s imo.
Looks nice as it is with the 17"s, 18"s will only make it look higher anyway, and youll need loads of arch mods to get it sitting lower.
