Water can get upto temp before the oil is hardly warm.....
I tend to use the oil pressure gauge as a better indicator, but let the oil get over 70 before thrashing it!
Havent heard anything from them since K-Tec and BBPT came on the scene.
If they are keeping upto date with new stuff etc, they arent advertising it.......
Depends on your insurance company.....
Some wont charge any extra, but others will as theyll see it as making the car more desirable i.e. more likely to get nicked.
Phone them up and ask them before you get the work done (or just dont tell them about it!)
About £150-£200 for the work, depends on the bodyshop and how far you go with the colour coding.
Doubt itll effect the re-sale value, wont decrease, but then again wont increase it......
They both are probably fine.
Different sets of gauges will read different temps....
I know my water temp gauge reads higher than most other peoples valvers, but still I know its running fine.
Do you think 0200 is running hot?
You could put a 2.0 redtop in the Nova, better brakes (got your pick from the other vauxhall models) and some coilovers for not much more than a grand.
Too early in my opinion to say the 182 is the best hot hatch ever. Plus the Williams has the whole classic thing going on, which the 182 will never have.....
