Well I think it depends what you use. If you get the old Humbrol paints out then its gonna look cack, the proper foliatec is designed for the job, it is supposed to actually dye the plastic rather than paint it, so whatever textrure is there already wont be covered up. I think itll work, folia...
Ive never known a bunch of people so obsessed with something...Let it drop for Gods sake! Anyway if the Sunday Times had really tested it then thats more than anyone on this thread has ever done...:)
BTW Steve I wouldnt say Ford engines are sh*t, on the whole theyre good and well built, tuneable etc. Its probably just the Focus RS doesnt run a lot of boost...you cant really compare a Subaru 2.0 with a Ford 2.0 just cos theyre both turbocharged. Youre right that its not a huge amount of power...
lol ST170 dont make me laugh That is easy pickings. There is nothing remotely hot about an ST170, its probably a match for a 16v and any Clio thats quicker than a valver would hammer it easily.

Vented are too wide for your caliper I would have thought. Ive still got a set of 16v front brakes for sale, calipers, grooved/drilled discs/ Ferodo DS2000 pads. Theyre promised to someone else but Im still waiting to hear if theyre having them...
Yeah you drive around as normal then instead of taking your foot off the accerator you use your left foot to brake. Thats it really. Used for keeping the car in line around bends so you can balance it on the throttle and brake at the same time, especially useful in a turbo cos you can keep the...
I always thought it would look really sh*te but saw it done in that new Haynes Clio modding book and done properly it looks quality. Im just going for dark blue, nothing too obvious.
Got a cracking reg sussed out...will post on here once Ive rung DVLA tomorrow morning and secured it...you never know what turbo drivers might be lurking around wanting to poach my plate! But it is none of the above anyway!

Im thinking of making a complete false floor behind the front seats in the rear footwell, so the level of the rear bench carries on up to the backs of the front seats. One side will be a sealed compartment for the sub, the other side will be an opening compartment containing the amp and a little...
Well while were on the subject of plates, you lot can give me a hand. Im thinking of changing the plates over for my Clio Turbo once its on the road. So the choice is
L777 RBO (L T77RBO first 7 changed into a T)
L17 RBO (t17RBO black bolt head next to the L)
K70 RBO (K 7URBO yellow bolt...
Well the full name of the Renault company is Regie Nationale des Usines Renault Societe Anonyme which I think roughly translates (not literally though) as National Renault Manufacturing Company Limited, but for the life of me I cant think what Regie means, nor can I find it in any dictionary!

Not quite built yet John. The other bits are slowly coming in though, harnesses arrived today, kevlar seats on the way, i got the back end stripped out now, engine parts are off for chroming...
