Im with you Mike! But Id want some of that rainbow film for the headlights as well. And a pair of tights to smoke the rear clusters. Then a Peco big bore exhaust as well.
LOL Ben...well as I said it didnt take me that long to figure it out. I suppose I just never really thought about it before. Like you dont wonder why the car goes left when you turn the wheel to the left! It just does.
Well I just saw an SL55 AMG yesterday giving the thumbs up to someone in an M5 or similar, as they both went their separate ways at an M11 slip road. They must have just been having it down the A120. That Merc always looks pretty tame in the mags, but seeing it in the flesh, it looks mental.
I just taught myself and learnt off of people I knew, asked questions when I didnt know the answer, eventually got to the stage where I could actually understand the Haynes manual, and in particular, I only concentrated on one car, the Clio 16v. When I look at other engines I still sometimes...
Or a standard fixed length one in steel, OMP do one for about £35 including all the fittings and everything. Its really one of those things where its so cheap its hardly worth the hassle of making your own.
If they dropped to 10k everyone would buy one, so the market will dictate that they dont drop to that sort of price. Theyll drop to the level where people will have to choose between say a 2nd hand Evo or something...
LOL everyone at the Cliosport meets looks like a fool! Youll be in good company. If you want to cause a stir, Id say get a set of those LED valve caps or an LED tailpipe trim!
Thats exactly it though Rob, they will go straight to Sparco or OMP, get them to do the seats, retrim them in RS colours and put another 200 quid on top! Just cut out the middle man. you dont see WRC cars with the car manufacturers name on them do you - they just buy the seats the same as...
The launch control units that you can get for anything up to £150 made by Micro Dynamics, Omex etc. are basically just a variable rev limiter. Ive got one that I fitted as a soft-cut limiter, full throttle gearchange and launch control. The only thing I dont really use out of the functions is...
WHy not be proper hardcore and spurn the official Renault gizmos? Just get a pair of Cobra or Sparco buckets! You dont see Evo RS owners going to Mitsubishi and saying please spank my arse and overcharge me for a set of official bucket seats do you? They just rip out the standard cloth seats...
Im with you Kev mate. Still, the best way to get your point across is not to buy the mags with crappy 1.0 Corsas in them. Difficult I know but its buying mags like PGTi, CCC etc that keeps them going and lets the other mags know they should change their angle. I cant be bothered to complain to...
Lowering is what makes the car. Lowering is a mod with no downsides at all, fairly cheap, makes the car handle wicked and look wicked, what more could you want?
Mines chromed and it looks THE NUTS not to put too fine a point on it! Who wants to be buffing up their metal every five minutes, when you could have chrome?
AA cover and a can of foam does me. Theres no legal requirement to carry a spare tyre so the AA cant moan if you dont have one. Well they can but they wont get far! Spare wheels are for losers.
The genuine Renault ones are made by Bougicord and they are very good. The only other decent choice really are Magnecor which are again very good and similar in construction to the original Bougicord.
LOL you wish mate! How have you calculated your pressure - whos to say what is perfect conditions and perfect setup? Where did you pluck the 80 degree F figure from (btw its the 21st century, lets have centigrade!) Who the hell is Keith Calver? Does he have a Clio and has actually tested it on...
popping is unburnt fuel, which as I learnt from BenR can be from overfuelling OR underfuelling, lean or rich mixtures. The less restriction there is in your exhaust system, the more likely you are to hear popping.
Anti lag keeps the turbo spinning by letting fuel and air through the cylinders...
Haha you got a bebop, you should have nicked the blue carpet out of it and sold it to someone for £50.
Well Ive been in plenty of 172s and driven plenty of valvers and Willys. The Willy is the ultimate hot hatch because it comes from the era of the classic hot hatch and was the best of the...
