iv got a 1.2 mk2 ph2 clio. Its got 47000 miles on the clock and is a 2002 model. Its going in to get it timing belt changed tomorrow so i was wondering is there anaything else that should be changed eg i was told that the aux belt or water pump should be done too but not too sure about...

got a quote to change my timing belt for £240 including parts on my mk2 ph2 1.2. does anyone know if thats a good price or not? also its a private garage and not teh main dealer.
spray them yourself if you have the time mate. will cost you alot less. as for powdercoating them i really have no idea because i just done mines myself
looks very good mate. as for the springs then they should get lower. mines is on 40mm eibach prolines and its lower than that so over the next couple of hundred miles you should start to notice it getting lower and lower. keep the good work up mate.
imo its either been stolen or it has a very big problem. 2003 clio's go for at least 5 times as much as what he is wanting. i would check it out and if there are no probelms with it, then that is the bargain of the centuary.
rhino thats a poor analogy. i knew what i wanted but like you said he was trying to pull the wool over my eyes. i know my approach wasnt the best but everyones gotta learn i suppose.
