For track purposes it is purposeful. Sure on the road and normal driving you're not going to notice anything, but if theres an option for £50 of having it weighted correctly then I'd have done it too. But as said it's not going to make a fat lot of difference if he's never doing track work...

No he won't need it, but if he's getting it setup properly then that's the way to go. I just stuck with having them IR'd and geo'd. Cost me about £300 IIRC from Northampton Motorsport.

You need to factor in £80 for full laser/IR tracking adjustments and you'll need them ideally geo'd aswell if you want it done properly and preferably corner weighed if you've money to burn. My FK Konigsport were a decent enough ride, although crashy over some poorer quality road surfaces. Also...
