Nope, and it's driving me nuts now.
I had the mount fixed, but it wasn't that.
I need to get one of the chaps off here to have a look at the steering rack bolts or it may be the anti roll bushes.
As it's a knocks when I pull away or stop and the steering creeks when I turn the wheel on...
Just to let you guys know, today at Westec.
The Clio produced 167.6bhp on the first run and 170.2bhp on the second, so I'm quite chuffed with that as I've only added a itg panel filter.
Went to Westec in Newport today for a rolling road.
The Clio produced 167.6bhp on the first run and 170.2bhp on the second, so I'm quite chuffed with that as I've only added a itg panel filter.
My mates Cupra R Leon made 221.3bhp and an other Cupra R made 222bhp, so I would say the Clio...
I was just about to say ^^^^^^, 'I don't think Dan will be able look at those pictures'
At least it's being well looked after.
I remember seeing my old Escort in Stroud, with the bumper hanging off. I thought I was going to cry at the time.
It's driving me nuts. When the car is warmed up in traffic, I get a creeking noise coming from the passenger side behind the centre console when I turn the steering wheel slightly, and it knocks when pulling away and just before I stop.
It was in the dealers yesterday, to repair the sheared...
You definately need a long extension piece.
13mm socket for the nuts and the bolt holding the battery clamp down.
Unless your like me and it has already snapped. :(
Had mine for a while now. It's a great phone.
It's really easy too use if you have had Sony phones before.
That's a good deal with the memory card, I had to buy mine.
Keep checking the Sony Ericsson website as you can keep updating the software on the phone.
I won't drive with it.
Has Protyre got any??
I've tried to get PE2's off them for a while now, but i'm after 192/45's though.
Change the pair and keep the other one for a spare.
Costco are about £68 fitted.
It only takes about 5mins to get the battery out, I wish I could say weather it will make the difference or not.
Well by the sounds of it the snapped bolt isn't too much of issue, I'll just get them to do that when it's in for the creeking noise.
It's driving me nuts. When the car is...
Cheers Fred, I'll give it ago.
I've got it booked in with SJ Cooks on Thursday, to try and sort out my creeking and knocking problem at low speeds.
I hope it is because of this mount, but I don't think it explains the creeking from the steering.
I've just had enough of it, so i'll just...
I've been having a knocking noise pulling away and when stopping, so I just took the battery out and noticed that the top bolt has sheared?
I'm guessing this is the reason for the knocking and creeking i'm getting when pulling away.
Will I be able to get a garage to drill out the bolt...
Thanks for that, I'll wear lots of layers.
I just hope i'm not last to run, as there are about 21 cars and I don't want to be waiting around till 3 or 4pm.
Which gear did they do the run in, 4th gear?
I'm booked in at Westec this Sunday with a SEAT club, loads of Leon Cupra R's so i'll be at the bottom. But I hope to be the top NA engine there.
I only have a ITG filter, so it would be good to see what figure I get to compare.
Perfect parking there!
I have the same trouble, with a small modern garage. But I only have the 172 and two bikes squeezed in, The road bike at the end and the motocross down the side at the front.
I bought a motocross bike the other week and I was worried if I would have to leave the car...
Bad luck, probably diesel.
I would claim on the insurance as it will probably be a write off, as your suspension, driveshafts, mounts etc wouldn't be in good nick either.
Get the money as you can argue the value of the car with insurance company and get a reasonable amount -£1k.
My...
