now you mention it the bulb was slightly off colour compared to the other 1 (not as blue and sharp)? I just put this down to the fact someone may have replaced it at some stage with the wrong colour lamp?
Easy job im hoping? changing the bulbs is a right PITA!

Hang on, are we talking about the passenger driveshaft here? It is just held in my the hub? Not like the mk1's then which have 3 bolts holding it into the box?
I paid £113 for a rear AND centre box from ECP but I got about 15% off at the time. Still very cheap. Ring the Wembley branch and have a word, all the other branches are clueless.
easy to replace it yes but I think that if it pops in the first place then your diff is worn and it may happen again, not 100% sure on this though! Might be better off getting a low mileage late ph2 boz with a bolt in diff, no probs then.
Well I had a drive in it and with my head stuck out the window it defo sounds like it is coming from drivers side. Either way I changed a wet shaft before, no issues there.
