After breaking my mk1 clio i wanted something fast, light and chuckable, so i bought a pulsar, 1200kg as standard 4x4 and 227bhp, i then bought a mongoose 3' exhaust system/walbro and 1 bar boost so circa 300bhp.
Straight swapped it for a good cup 172 :)

Bought a phase 1 172 last week for my girlfriend, while driving it if you flooed it the steerig would jolt to the right when you lfit of the throttle it will jolt back, this is most noticable when turning right, if your turning right the car then throws itself self more into the bend.

looking for standard engines really, when i got my itb'd 172 the rev limit was set at 7800, which seemed high to me, i now have it at 7200, the car was mapped at rstuning with the 7800, is there power up that high? seems a bit high for standard b/e!?

I currently use 50mm length trumpets, i want to change to 60mm, i measured the depth off the air filter and its 80mm deep at the deepest point (middle, its a sausage filter) iirc you need 20mm clearence from trumpet to filter, however i jsut want to confirm this before i order!
