Yeah exactly! thats a good 3 fat blokes less weight & it may be more than 130bhp, i'm takin it for a second opinion on wednesday :)
Connected my fone to pc but its on that "3GP" format :S can i stil display it or do i need to find a program to convert it?
That said, the standard full fat 172 does 60 in wot 7 seconds? Wel mines a dash under 8 so maybe in theory they could be similar...
But how does that work then? cos apart from the torque its a full 40 hp down on the sport :S
Yeah i know, i wonder could anyone here time their 0-60 and then 60-90 or wateva speed in a cup cos i hav no idea how my car can be slower to 60 but near the same to 90 :S
Was out doin some performance tests in the dci tonite and noticed a nasty kinda snap noise as i depressed the clutch...
Almost like a plastic coke bottle had rolled behind there and was makin a crack noise as it got squashed :S
Any ideas wot it could be?
Its been happenin for a few days now...

Mine don't hav xenons but sum do like Manj on this forum for instance, my remap was done at RS Tuning in leeds - Paul i salute you! ;)
I filmed the 0-90 test on my fone if anyone wanna tel me how to put it on here? It may even be around the 16second mark yet.. :)
lol ok, how do wont me to prove it?
i guess i could try filmin it on my fone
yeah 130 brake and oodles of torque
The 0 - 90 is actually 17 secs, sorry i was readin off the wrong bit of paper
Wow, these discussions get pretty heated :S
why not take a look at youtube or sumthing and create a solution... :)
I havent checked to see but there must be some video evidence of a race between a similar powered diesel & petrol car...
That way we can forget theory & get down to the facts :)...
Wel according to edde its only the 100 with the weak box so yeah u should be able to map it with no probs, there hav been loads of posts on here about mapping diesels and if memory serves me correct 105bhp should be quite safe on your car. that sed 'black kro' has 110, you may wanna pm him
Yeah actually i do, maybe theres more of them up where you guys live but ive not seen any down here in west sussex, plenty of 65's and 80's tho, i tried to keep my eyes peeled cos it be nice to meet a fellow owner
How could i convert it?
Hey guys,
A deer ran out in front of my car last night on the dual carraiageway & tho i swerved to miss him i was doin 80 at the time & clipped him with the mirror.
Basically it smashed the hell out of it & i need a new one (a new mirror not a new deer lol) and fast but don't wanna pay...
No disrespect to yourself or anything but the 100's a pretty rare car, i doubt uve eva seen 8 of them let alone worked on them, seriously. The only trouble i'm gettin is with the clutch atm. It can't handle the torque doing a 50-70 in 5th test, the revs shoot way up then fall - even with that...
I'm quite keen to know where these statistics are coming from, usually one person says something and all the others simply repeat it like they know wot they're talkin bout, ive heard the rumours, show me the actual evidence ;)
Yeah think the 35kg quoted is prob more accurate, as diesel obviously lighter than water.
Ppl keep talkin bout the 'chocolate box' but i'm yet to see any evidence of a dci 100 box actually failing due to a map. Mines been running over 190lbs/ft for some months now & ive had no issues box wise...
Nah i didn't bother with induction cos was advised that it was more fueling that made power in diesels and that too much air could actually reduce power.
I ignored it, bought an induction kit, took it to the rolling road & sure enuf the power was less :dapprove:
That was before the map tho...
put some Michelin Pilot Exalto II's on and then tell me the yoko's are good in the wet
some of their tyres will be, but not the A539
Are they the ones that come with the Clio Sport?
I'm needing new ones myself & thinkin of tryin a different brand for a change, but i want AMAZING HANDLING...
