After getting her home yesterday, gave her a nice clean up this morning in the nice weather.
Drives amazingly.
Hard to get used to the paddle clutch though, lol.
Sorry for bad pics
Aydon,
I was already assured by jack that the coolant wasnt ''bubbling'' as such, it was just returning back to the header tank. the car has never had any over heating issues and is pretty sound. so all is well. glad to be the new owner of this machine
If it's only that mate I will just get it done, what radiator do you recommend for the job? Bear in mind I am completely satisfied with the power output it has and won't be hunting for more power,
How much we talking £ wise?
Thanks,
Aydon.
It's weird because it has the megane 225 head gasket which is easily good enough for the 260bh it's running? If it's not a massive job I would still buy this car because I really want it.
I've put a deposit on it mate but obviously the coolant bottle bubbling after a quick blast is a little bit concerning, and it's always good to get a bit of advise from someone who isn't actually selling the car? I'm sure it's fine though it's an animal and can't wait to own it, and being built...
No yeah i said the coolant bottle is bubbling quite a bit isn't it? But he said no that's fine, and to be honest with you I completely trust them they are reputable lads, but a bit of third party advise to be on the safe side is always helpful mate...
Cheers,
Aydon.
Looked at this phase 1 172 turbo today http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?618699-Renault-Sport-Clio-PH1-172-Turbo-258.6-bhp-245-ftb
It's an absolute amazing machine and has gone well together by the lads up at stone / Mwm the car pulls amazingly but my only concern was after a...
Get a 205 gti with a 306 gti-6 conversion and then supercharge it with a diff,
That's something that is fun and would cost less than £8k and piss over a clio on track.
You know your onto a fail when your first 6 posts on the forums, the moderator has to delete half of them. Close thread would be appropriate right now.
Why do you keep getting angry at comments that aren't even aimed at you? Are you gregz boyfriend? Was that you and him in the picture he posted? Continue to fail please, carry on going bright red and aggressively typing on your keyboard. Have fun talking to yourself now because I'm off.
Unfortunatly he opened a thread called "what should I do to my baby?" which is a question, therefore welcoming peoples opinions. Unfortunatly he was a bit but hurt when people started to share them.
Because the renaultsport models have the power output to warrant spending money to sharpen up handling if your going to drive them to there potential, a 1.2 on 17" wheels on the other hand, I could probably run faster into a corner, if your shocks are in a dangerous condition however, do it. And...
Why spend money on upgrading suspension or anything on a car with roughly 65bhp, it doesn't need it. Keep it standard so atleast you can sell it on when your bored with it in a couple of days.
