It does normally do a bit more than that on the first half to be fair. I filled up today and did a manual calculation based on how much fuel I had put/miles since last refil in and I worked it out that I was getting closer to 25mpg. I'll just see how it goes, I wasn't expecting super fuel...

The auto wipers annoy me because they are so utterly rubbish on mine. I wouldn't mind but there is no single wipe or intermitten setting! I used to get really annoyed by xenon lights before I had them myself, now i'm just amazed by being able to see in the dark :)

The thing is they all look pretty much the same from the outside so you don't know what you are up against. I had a 2.0l gti 115bhp and it was slow as hell. But many of the 1.8t's will easily hit ~200bhp remapped... throw in a few more mods and it becomes a very fast car. Even the TDi's can...

Sorted it out now. Basically, the whole story is... I will have 5 years no claims on 24th of February with my current insurance policy. So I thought I would just be able to change the policy with my current insurer for the final month, get my 5 years no claims, and if the renewal was too much...

Not done an hpi check (yeah i know..) but it was bought from a reputable place who would be very unlikely to be selling something which wasn't clear. Just to note it doesn't always come up as a different model, it only does that on a couple of places. On most it just comes up as not recognised.
