Have a strange 'crackly' sort of noise going on with phs 1 at the minute. Haven't as yet been able to find out exactly where it's coming from.. Sounds like something is shorting or similar, but am pretty clueless at min, till have afternoon off on Thursday to look.No problems with starting...

My heat-shield tin foil at back of manifold keeps dropping forward onto manifold. Just wondering firstly if it really offers much heat resistance, ie is there an issue if I remove, it's obviously there for a reason??? What is ok to re-attach it? Bit of no-nails or tiger seal ok??

Like the pecker that I am, I bought a Honda aerial for my car, which doesn't fit as thread isn't long enough!!! Other than chopping original down, which fit the phase 1? C2 VTS? What you got on yours?
