Since my mate has a SLK 2.3 kompressor I thought and have a look at that but it seems they also made a 2.0 kompressor.

Sorry for the Dutch link. Anyway It's a 2.0L engine and uses a compressor. I haven't looked into...
As Bmh.01 said. The bottom exit, is routed to the headlight. You can see it just behind the headlight. (it's fitted in the metal part between the battery and the airbox.
So is it worth re-routing the bottom feed??? I don't know, it seems fine. BTW I replaced my side exit feed, just for...
I have got the same problem since......... oh well :)
Anyway post your fix please, so I can have a check myself sometime later. Driving around like this for about a half year and haven't been bothered to check. (it's only the slightest rocking forward and backward)
Get the plastic caps off, and there is one hexagon holding the wiper.
The wiperarms are fitted on the spline conus axel.
Undo the hexagon till the top of the tread, so the top of the axel and the nut are at the same level. Use a alligator wrench ontop of the nut/axel and underneath the...
Good fix!
I just gave my dribbling washer jet a poke today.
Take of the ball, and insert a small pin (long side of an allen-key) in the hole behind the ball, give the spring that is in the washer jet a good poke, hope it seats the ball that is pressed with the spring to a seating (non return...
Don't know if anyone noticed, but are the wheel fitted wrong on the first picture?
Maybe swaped lift wheel to the right. If they were fitted by a garage like this, you might get some money back.
Edit Only the rear wheel
If he is saying the bottom one, he mean the one that is mounted on the underside of the airbox. There are two feed. One on the right, which you can see easily, and one underneath the airbox. You can see that one when taking out the filter.
Don't know if thats the best one to remove, because...
Fixed,
The rubber stopper indeed was stuck. Now the washer are spraying again. I found my right sided (driver side in UK) headdlight washer leaking now, so that's another problem I have to take care of. (luckily there's enought to be found with the search)
GR172 you are right the headlight...
Thanks for your replies,
I was wondering if the jets should be spraying at the same time. The way it is connected now, the only possibility is that they spray one at a time.
As far as I know the rubber stopper is stuck then. When I blown air through the hoses, the two jets seem to be...
Heard the best airfilter/induction kit is the original airbox, and maybe with uprated cold air feed and MAYBE a remove acoustic valve.
If you want noise, just pull of the existing air feed on the right of the airbox. Squeeze the hose a bit and pull it out of the airbox. Someone will probably...
LOL I found my 172 more scary in the wet then a buddy's 1.2. The 172 is more tricky when it goes. Both 172 and 1.2 understeer well, but when the back-end comes around you know the difference. Made some nice 4 wheel slides with the 1.2
I am glad I can rely on my ABS/ESP, which works really...
Actually there are engines that can do so.
Rail road locomotive running on diesel mostly have this function. On full load they use all cilinders and on normal load they eg. use only 8 cilinders of 12 in total.
I believe there are cars that also have this function. probably american because...
@DrRollo,
I guess you are right, but the when fuel/air is inhaled, the cilinder and piston are cooled.
And compressing only air also generates heat, I don't know in what sort of factor but still. (As you probably know, diesel engines work on the heat generated by compression)
Mostly yes, but when working at the Renault (not as an mechanic) one of the few good renault mechanics told me this. Not that the extra heat will kill the engine, but when reving to 6000rpm and then only braking on the engine will generate more heat.
Read DrRollo's post, so probably not a...
I will explain myself clearer.
I am an mechanical engineer, but I did not design any engine or something.
Not using fuel
The engine will not be using any fuel, when the engine is spinned around by it's own kinetic energy. So when you are braking on the engine....coming from high revs. to...
Ok here it goes,
One of my headlight washer jet isn't working but the hose going to it isn't blocked.
While changing my leaking washer bottle I checked how the pumps were fitted and how they should work. My guess is that my headlight washer never can have worked properly. Since it is a...
Lol now I don't ever want to go on the rollers.
Aren't rolling roads measuring the amount of force produced by the wheel on the roller? ATW numbers should be concidered most trustfull numbers, if this is the case. I know they can vary with changing tyre pressure, but this just seems odd to me.
It is found in the search, but you can set them off and on by,
puting you sidelights on and off and on, with the car not running, but ignintion on....you will hear a sound.
could be slightly different but iirc this is it.
Have any of you guys heared about stickering hole cars, thus changing color and protecting the original finish (old color)
Sorry for the Dutch artical, but seeing the pictures you will get the idea.

I think peak power gain a minimal, but if you look at the two graphs you see a gain in torque. (@3000rpm is looks like 10Nm)
So for normal driving between 2000 and lets say max 5000 rpm it seems you get some extra torque, which I find a good thing.
might there been a change in %...
Sorry for the bump but just to inform.
Renault has a tool for this, but my mate, which works at renault told my he usually loosens the hexagon ontop, just so you have a flat surface on top of the bolt/hexagon.
Then use an alligator wrench and grip the wipers arm base and top of bolt. Did...
Pictures to make things clear.
The pump on the right is lowest and is connected to the windscreen washers. The left one is for the light washers.
My leakage was on the right pump.
I don't think anything would change apart from the track wide.
Toe / Camber and Caster, can all be measured at the brakedisc if wanted, since the brakedisc's angles aren't affected, none will be changed.
Haven't read it all myself, but just for the interested...
Today I am fixing my windscreen washer bottle, using some kit....water is flowing out through the lowest (windscreen pump) hole. So using kit to stop the water for going out on the rubber ring. (slight crack in the bottle)
Anyway the pump of the light washer and the pump for the windscreen are...
I am not sure, but the caster isn't changed I think. The brake-disc will be in the same angle (caster/camber/toe) So I guess so does your wheel.
Could be wrong doh.
Edit: Your wheel will be 7mm further to the outside. (14mm wider track) (I think you already knew, but just had to mention)
ph1 and ph2 172 don't have the same inlets? I thought only the 182 was different....shame on me :)
Sorry now I see the throttle body (valve) is included, that won't fit for sure
