See if it says anything in the Device Manager that might help, or if there is an exclamation mark on the left hand side against it. Right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager

Use some Second Skin Spectrum sray in the boot lid, it's much easier to apply thay sound proof sheeting in the boot lid and gets as good results.
