I didn't think the ratios were different enough to make any real difference??
Looks like i'll be best just rebuilding my box, would have been nice to build one up just so i could swap it out and in on the same day.
Re: iPhone 5 this October??
This is my thoughts exactly, but with every other smart phone seeming to be getting bigger and bigger will apple follow that route?? I for one really hope not!
Well, once again there are rumours of the iPhone 5. This time it is said to be being launched in October.
From what i can find it's going to be a whole new phone, bigger screen and bigger phone itself. I've always liked the size of my 4, i can put it in a case and keep it in my pocket without...
Hi all, I've done a search but can't find a answer, I'm thinking of building a new gearbox up for my 172cup with a diff and was wondering exactly what the differences are between my box and a ph1 box, mainly is there any difference between how the diff is mounted??
The reason i ask this is I'm...

Exceeds most fluids out there, DOT4 and it's a good price.
This isn't strictly true, as cup_phil has found if the car is used in motorsport events or track days it's up the the mot'er to use his/her discretion when it comes to the new SRS related rules. In the seminar for the new rulings coming in it was stated that the tester must be sure it's a...
Re: Running ABS on track car???????????
I'd keep it, I've got a 172 cup and to be honest i've never had any issues with the lack of abs on track BUT given the choice i'd like to have it there, as Sam@BTM has said it's a very good system on the clio's, and there is no getting away from it abs...
I'm about to do a brake fluid change on the cup and i've got a bottle of motul fluid which I've had for about year now.
My question is, the seal has been broken on the bottle for the year it's been sitting in my garage but the lid has been on it, will the fluid still be ok to use??
I done about 20k in my Trophy and about 14k in my B14'd 172cup, for road use the Sachs much better in my opinion, as many have said the Sachs are so compliant over our roads, the Bilsteins are great shocks but lack the control that the Sachs give.
This ^^^^
With half decent tyres in good condition understeer really isn't an issue for road driving. If you're experiencing the understeer on track then there are lots of different routes to take.
I've fitted these over the last week, they fit perfectly so no worries there.
I've not driven my car yet but i have been out in a car with them fitted and they didn't make a single noise.
It does sound like its quite likely to be the cable, the cable is on the front of the gearbox, you can't fail to miss it. You'll have to have the air box off ideally.
