Punto GT3 is the 3rd gen of Punto GTT.
Ive got a Valver and driven my mates GT2 and much much prefered the valver even though its older with twice as many miles it has so much more character.
Toms a safe character thats looks after his car, buy it quick cause hell prob change his mind again...
Or from Renault - only a couple of quid.
Be prepared for a bastid of a job though. Top dash off, then the steering wheel surround, then the clocks which are awkward, then you have to get behind the clocks to remove the speedo cable and electrical fittings.
The bulbs are easy but putting it...
My bolsters are a little tatty and white looking.
Any one know a way of making it look a little tidier - is there a way?
Some one suggested black shoe polish, would have thought this was suicide in terms of getting it on your clothes!
Buy a Lexus and put Clio lights on there some one once said!
Sorry mate, chrome Lex lights dont work on anything other than an IS200.
Theres a green MGZ round the corner from me with lex lights and it looks horrible.
The bling factor is too much.
Check out the black ones though, on a...
You need some serious statistical power then mate. Not just 0-60 but in gear speeds etc.
Thats what people dont take in to account on the road that gearing is different. Toque peaks in different places and once a cars moving 0-60 can go out the window.
Was reading about an RS200 the other...
Pretty positive theyre inline 6 so torque isnt gonna be massive.
Can any one get the power/weight on it?
All good saying a car is gonna beat it but is there gonna be a race?
Also if he does whoop you, all you have to do is say "beemer drivers are such idiots"
He cant win that one.
All depends how much your willing to spend. Can go as far as changing nearly all the body panels.
Class it as a kit car then and get cheaper insurance than the base car!
Im sure the first red 348 that mike posted looks like an MR2.
I think its quite a valiant attempt. Normally theyre always 355 kits but to go to that extreme takes some balls.
Down side is its not a turbo so isnt very quick.
You want THIS car:

Be on sale for £10,000.
Yeah the rwd Cossie had a weaker block from the pinto engine and stronger gearbox and clutch. The 4x4 had a stronger engine and weaker gearbox and clutch. (exclude escort)
Best combo is a rwd with 4x4 engine!
Cosworth only made a turbo engine for the Sierra Cosworth didnt they?
The Granada was a jumped up XR4 lump and the Merc Cossies that came out were never turbo?
4x4 Megane Cosworth that can hit 60 in sub 5 seconds is what you should all want.
The problems would be Renault build quality...
