where can i get track rod ends from?

As above i seem to have quite a bit of play in my steering. When im going straight i can turn the wheel right and left over an inch each way maybe more, can feel a bit unsettling at speed when you need control over the wheel, any ideas what it could be?

Im gettin a metal kind of rattle under my gear lever, if i stab the throttle at pedestrian speeds you can really hear it, its like somethings loose directly underneath it, its not coming from the engine bay, any ideas?

they seem to be generally quite expensive though! u can pick up ph1 or ph2 172s 4 the same price, so it seems on pistonheads neway.

has anyone come from a ph1 172 to a ph2 1*2, and which is the better to drive? Im guessin the ph1 with its cable throttle is alot more responsvie unlike the fly by wire in the later model/s. Also the gear ratios have changed how does this make the car drive compared to the ph1? Just curious as...
