LOL, I didn't think you had 17's, they look smaller than that.
I can't wait to get it done, lowering's the only thing left to do now.
What else you got to do to yours now?
Thanks Dan :)
Get some pictures of your motor up on here.
I need to change insurance companies first, then I'm gonna get some Eibach Sportlines hopefully. I can't stand it being so high at the moment.
That's what I thought at first. But it wasn't removing enough plastic TBH.
When you turn your lights on, the plastic can look almost cracked (especially with HID's). This is what I was aiming to get rid of when I done mine. Just depends what your after really.
You need more than 1500 to expose fresh plastic.
I would get more like 800 dry on it first.
Isn't there someone local to you with a machine polisher? It's going to be really hard without one IMO.
What make of springs is that lowered on buddy. The ride height looks really good.
Also whats the ride quality like with standard shocks?
Stunning car BTW :)
Yeah that should be ok to smooth it down, prior to painting.
Rear bumper (PHASE 1 BTW) is quite easy to get off.
Firstly you unscrew the archliner from the rear bumper. This (the screws T20) should be one at the top and and one the bottom of the bumper.
Once you take the archliner off you can...
Right, I've got a little update for everyone.
First off I went out and bought some Phase 2 lights on Thursday. Secondly I've colourcoded my rear bumper.
Hi there,
I remember someone saying that Tesco's allow you to have 40mm lowering springs, without any extra costs.
Is this true?
I'm currently with Churchill and they don't allow lowering springs (or any mods for that matter) lol, so i'm going to have to wait until my current policy runs out...
This Grant's mate?
Don't know if you remember me? I've got a Clio same colour as yours.
I've colourcoded my Sidestrips the other day.
The code you want is 632 and don't go Halfords! loool
Go for it, HID's looks so much better and give off much more light. Win win really.
Definitely have them in projector lenses though, that's the only way to have HID's IMO.
Thanks,
Nick
Yeah the colour match is pretty much spot-on to be honest.
The more layers of primer the better TBH, as the plastic is textured. However 4 should be fine, but make sure the primer you use is grey.
Sidestrips are easy too take off. Just push/pull them off. The door one comes away from the...
As above, is the Hub Spacing on my Grande 52mm?
Hopefully someone out there knows already and plus I cant be bothered taking my wheel off haha :rasp:
Thanks,
Nick
