Mint ones are great, better than a valver.
The power (and more importantly torque) can be awesome, and they handle pretty well too.
If you can find a really good one they are great fun, but I wouldnt be prepared to spend the kind of money to make it so good on one though.
No!
Only ever locked up once, and a decent driver like myself can sort that out no problem. Its not the worst thing in the world.
I brake seriously heavyly sometimes, like when Im racing, and you learn the limit of how hard to push it.
Its not like it doesnt brake without ABS, Im amazed...
Mine gave me about 2bhp & 2lb/ft peak gains, but 5bhp & 5lb/ft across the rev range.
Power and Torque were both peaking some 300rpm lower. Very noticable difference on the road.....
With all the parts youve replaced, Id say it is a faulty lambda senser. Mine sometimes runs spot on, sometimes runs like sh!te at 500rpm!
I got a genuine Renault/Bosch one from Nick at HillPower for just under £70.
Its going on tomorrow, hopefully should solve my problems. Ill let you know....
Nearly all other similar cars to the valver will be at least IG14.
At the time I bought my valver, that wouldve been twice the insurance cost!
Still not having luck finding a good one with ABS Daz?
I spent two months looking for mine (and that hasnt got ABS - which is better! hehe!)
Stick to the Clio, just as fast (and some would say more fun) as the Subaru. Youve got to think also, its £300 more to insure, but the running costs will be fairly higher as well.....
I dont know, but I think you could take it off in no time at all (if you had time after you crash.....)
Doubt an insurance company would even investigate the claim, or check out your car, unless it was a huge crash!

I think the flashing Clifford LED lets them know what Ive got! The stickers are staying......
Good idea bout the sticker, think Ill put in under the bonnet somewhere.
