It's only illegal on public roads.
At the end of the day, it's a cup. no driver aids. if the driver is stupid, they'll die. end of. I'm quite sure the driver knows what he/she is doing
I don't think that makes a difference, have a look in the pistonheads ad i posted, it's still as high. it makes a really funny read!
I quote "Insurance should be cheaper with it not having the V6 engine."
no s**t sherlock.
I never changed mine from the standard omex jumpers. disconnect the renault ecu from the crank sensor and try again. the sensor has a weak signal and has trouble feeding both ecu's. ( or just the omex sometimes!) Andy was looking into ford crank sensors, but i don't know how far he got.
set it...
If it a standard renault sensor then its a typical MVR.
However if you are piggybacking the omex and renault ecu so you still have a rev counter, the standard renault item can be a complete pain in the arse. Andy @ GDI has a lot of knowledge about this problem, (as he spent ages setting mine up!)
Don't forget this is Renault you are talking about. anything is possible. depends what they had in the spares bin for that week......
my ph2 172 head was cnc'd before i ported it, on the inlet only, think it was only partial.
sorry dude, i didn't mean to offend you, i was just digging for info. didn't see how old the thread was to start with. ironically i fitted my dogbone bout this time too! maybe the powerflex are not suitable for non rs's as they can't take the strain.
i'm gonna leave it now, cheers
