can i ask, what's the 3 mount / 4 mount thing? i presume you mean top engine mount, dog bone, top and bottom gearbox? i've not looked under a non 172 bonnet, so wouldn't know.
Yeah but it was a 1.2! what the hell would you fit powerflex bushes to a 1.2 for? to get faster gear changes while drag racing the local nova?
we've all had our 1st car stuff, 1.0's etc, but come on be a bit realistic.
If your sure the bolt wasn't loose, please tell me how it ovaled the hole...
Either it was the wrong bolt, or damage was like it before and not noticed.
It's a steel bolt, IF something had happened to it to bend it it would have broken the side out of the aluminimum gearbox mount for sure.
I've done it on a old astra, 2 of the gearbox bolts had vibrated out (without...
because the mount is stiffer, vibration will cause things to loosen. just because the bolts were done up to the correct torque, don't mean they won't get loose. i have koni adjustable suspension and i've had to retighten all the bolts again since it was put on because i noticed the top mount...
Hang on a second, the dogbone is bolted by 1 bolt to the gear box and then a bar goes to 2 more on the bellhousing. if you knackered the gearbox one it's probably due to the bar being missing or not tight enough?
what do you think?
If your amp is 2 channel as my old one was, use the sub out and use a Y splitter (halfrauds sell them) to make it 2 channel. my new amp is single channel so i don't need the Y anymore and then the sub is a dual voice 4 ohm so it's bridged to get 1 channel 2 ohms.
my camera is wired to a switch...
yeah, a pioneer tsw3001d4 (1000w rms 12") in the spare wheel well and a theloudestuk tl-1023 monoblock amp (500w rms 2 ohm) hidden.
amp is on minimum, and bass is awesome. sounds really good.
also running a rear view camera inked into the jvc and got the ipod connection kit too

but it depends on the width of the rim....any more than standard will play up with the arches...............on any size diameter rim
eg a 16" rim and 8.5" width will rub the arches!
so if you had 18" rims that were 7" wide they won't rub the arches. Finding tyres may be a problem
