never seen a pic of you mark, maybe the next step should be driver weight loss? cut your toenails that little bit shorter? regular doses of laxitive? lol
Yeah, i have no real doubts over him being a genuine guy. Hes a regular poster and buys/sells quite alot on cs.
I did think about asking for a partial refund, although in all honesty i have no real use for them as i dont really want to start glueing things to my car.
Again i would just like...
I would appreciate it if you would mind keeping it to yourself as i dont want to drag the sellers name through the dirt.
I would also like to say that as soon as i asked for a refund he agreed no problem.
After re-reading my post i feel that this sounds a little unfair and sounds like im doubting the price the seller paid. id just like to clarify that im not, i do believe that he paid £10 + p&p as he says and have no reason not to believe this.
I was just stating what i read on the thread after...
No, im not going to name and shame unless the seller gets funny about a refund. If i get refunded with no problems i will not be naming and shaming the seller and will just put it down to a genuine mistake on his part.
^ To be honest mate im not really happy to start glueing bits to my car, whilst i suppose its one less thing to rattle id rather them just be clipped on.
When PM'ing the seller i specifically asked about the condition of the badges and if all clips were intact.
The seller said that the badges needed painting. I was happy with that as i was going to paint them anyway.
He was origionally asking for £25 posted so i (rightly or wrongly) presumed...
Hi guys & girls,
Ive recently bought these badges and when they arrived, on one of the badges 2 of the 3 clips are broken (to the point its almost smooth were the clips used to be)
Anyone have any suggestions on how i could still make use of these badges? Ive circled the broken clips in red...
ive got a halfords trolley jack and it fits under my cup packed 182 comfortably. Might be a bit of a squeeze if your lowered 20mm.
Could always buy one and try, just return it if it doesnt fit under your sills.
In response to MOT bill -
Rear shocks are prone to failing on 1*2's, think these are around £45 + labour each. So say £140
Then you might need a couple of tyres which as i posted above could be another £200.
Then you might need a new lambda sensor if you fail emisions which will cost you...
Wait till your 21 with 1yrs ncb, green light insure me for £950 fully comp.
Running costs are down to luck really.
My last service cost me £140 using genuine parts at a VAT registered garage to keep my AA warranty intact. That was for spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter, oil & filter...
no not got any, will pop to halfords tommorow and grab a tube. Really p'd with the old man about the hole thing. Just found hes used a load of my microfibre drying towels as well :(
typically today the temp here is around 26degrees so has baked them on nicely. just been out with the srp again and its damn hard work for little improvment.
Will give the car another wash later in the week and hopefully get rid of the buggers. Otherwide i may have that final kick i need to buy...
Hi,
Not best pleased today, i washed the car come to dry it...hunting everywere for my watermagnet drying towel. i eventually find it on the floor below my dads bike covered in grease and all sorts of s**t.
Typically id thrown my old chammy out a few weeks ago in a garage clearout so had to...
Hi,
Was it someone from here who flashed me earlier today? was either a 172 cup or artic 182, only caught a quick glimpse as i was looking to hard at my speedo making sure i adheared to 30mph  lol
Came past me had a Nuremberg sticker on the back and an aftermarket exhaust. Cant remember alot else about it as i was fed up of seeing motorways after the drive back from newquay
Hi Chris,
I never had a noise on my car, the problem for me was that the washer smashed into several pieces on doing the nut up due to the wheel bearing on the new disk coming apart.
The garage just ordered a new washer, replaced the bearing and job done.
On my old ST170 when i first got it...
Thanks for that video Jon. Its a great video. Helps give a really good impression of what the exhaust sounds like in several different situations.
Really like the sound of that exhaust. Just enough to be noticable but not irratating. Do you feel its given you any performance gains? Also is it...
That's a stunning looking motor mate. Always fancied a flame red myself when looking at 172/182s..just wasnt any around at the time and i desp needed a car else my insurance co were gonna cancel my policy lol.
Might invest in a carbon splitter soon as my 182 has cup suspension pack but not...
