Hi mate,
Birchdown couldn't find anything at all on the suspension. lol i cant beleive it but the noise does seem to have gone now. Madness lol
Sorry i couldn't have been more help to you :(
Looks stunning mate. The more i see these threads the more i want a machine polisher although my cars still looking god from when middo gave it a good going over not so long ago.
Is there much difference between the kestrel and megs polishers would the experts say?
Lol i do a 1000 miles a week in a transit up and down national speed limit dual carriageway and motorway from Stoke to Sheffield...the Clio seems like the pinnacle of refinement compared to a bloody van. Engine screaming its head of at 70, no poke in pretty much any gear at any speed, shite...
When i was on my second year of driving i was insured with admiral. In my own name with a couple of small mods on the policy however i put my mum and nan as named drivers which bought my quote down from £1300 to £780 fully comp for 12months with a reasonable excess as well.
It's not gone in yet mate. I'm dropping it off with Birchdown tomorrow and they're doing my cambelt Tuesday and are going to have a look at the noise for me then. I'll post back with what the fault is Tue night all being well :)
ST for me as well. Infact now they have dropped in price i have been looking at them however for me it would have to be an ST3 with the full leather recaros etc. The other half of me is telling me to wait 12months and look at e46 m3's
edit - I wouldn't worry about an ebay trader having 0...
that bit of wiring on show under the radio suddenly removes all confidence on the work done on the car...well that's if the bodykit wasnt enough already lol
Considerably worse im lead to understand. That however isnt through personal experience i must stress purely from what ive read on here and the Renaultsport forums
Ill go out in a little bit once the snows eased off and have a scout around the car and see what i can see. Failing that ill let Birchdown take care of it all lol
Hi,
I noticed on my car today that when stationary/low speeds when i wiggle the steering wheel around there is a knocking noise coming from the drivers side wheel. It doesn't sound like the usual strut top knocking either.
Also it sounds like the wheel is being dragged rather than rolling when...
I asked about shampoos the other week and alot of people seemed to recomend the Duragloss 901/902. Just awaiting delivery of it from I4D though so cant comment on it yet.
I had a Halfords wash mitt. Lasted me around 6months before it started to fall apart. I'd have one again seemed pretty decent to me and price wise it wasnt bad either. Around £7 if i remember right
you might be able to just pull the contacts apart on the switch. mine was playing up so i removed it and the contacts were stuck together. pulled them apart and so far its behaved.
I had an HTC touch diamond and hated it. Sold it after a week. I found the hole having to use a stylus to txt a pain in the ass and as it runs on windows it was dog slow and prone to crashing
I'm sure i read on here somewhere that there are no benefits to a ported throttle body. Matched inlets are generally seen as the better modification to do.
Lovely looking motors the 5 series. The old man had a couple of the old shape ones as company cars and in 6 years of ownership neither of them gave a spot of bother. One of them our neighbour bought from the company, it is now 9 years old and other than routine servicing and tyres its still had...
