Essentially the same as the 182 but the crank locking pin is different. It is a screw in type and is mearley a stop to locate TDC. So beware the crank can move anti clockwise when removing the bottom pulley. The camshaft pulley tool is also different. The setting bar is the same though.

Its the switching and protection unit. Full of fuses. It will have the one for the lights.

You need to look in the UPC. Its behind the passengers headlight underneath a plastic cover. Undo the two torx 20 screws.
When re fitting, make sure the seal on the lid is in good condition.
Where you flattening the battery when you were painting? Sounds like the immobiliser is kicking in, is the red immobilser light staying solid when trying to start?
