Essentially the same as the 182 but the crank locking pin is different. It is a screw in type and is mearley a stop to locate TDC. So beware the crank can move anti clockwise when removing the bottom pulley. The camshaft pulley tool is also different. The setting bar is the same though.

It will most likely be the connection on the starter or a sticky starter its self.

Re: Clio Sport 197 MK3 - Side Light, Back Lights & Rear Number Plate Lights not worki You need to look in the UPC. Its behind the passengers headlight underneath a plastic cover. Undo the two torx 20 screws. When re fitting, make sure the seal on the lid is in good condition.

Sounds like blocked heater matrix to me. Iv only ever found that replacing them cures them 100%.

Where you flattening the battery when you were painting? Sounds like the immobiliser is kicking in, is the red immobilser light staying solid when trying to start?

54 onwards has the external TB. Normally on the earlier ones, its just the connection on the TB thats inside the inlet manifold.

Yeah pretty straight forward. ECU is behind the battery, UCH is behind the glovebox and use the old key head and the new blade on your new car.

Use your ECU, UCH and key head and it will be fine.

It wont matter if its not a remote type, it will still start the car.

Pure co incidence i think. Theres no way the radio loom connects to the immob circuit. Keys are a common failure on your age clio. Try your spare key.

Its a 1.2. no pencil coils there ;)

Cant say iv done a clio 3 k4m water pump either. But as ali says, most we get is 30- 40k cars so they are genrely sound.
