Clio iii Boot, Sometimes opens Sometimes Dosent, any ideas??

Recently when i have been trying to use my boot, sometimes it wont open, then i try it a few days later and it dose?, any ideas-

Check for water in the rubber switch. And also check the wiring as it goes through the boot hinge.
